DE MISBEGREPEN KUNSTSTUDENTEN

‘De Misbegrepen Kunststudenten’ is a target audience that emerged from a target group research project. The research began with asking basic questions to people on the street, which led to surprisingly insightful answers. What drew me to this group was the fact that they perceive their career prospects as limited, primarily because of their clothing style.

The target group consists of art students who actively seek creative challenges both within and outside of their studies. They live day by day and embrace life to the fullest. Their style typically includes piercings, tattoos, dark clothing, and a mix of bold patterns and textures. Due to the judgment they often face, mutual respect is an especially important value within the group.

Throughout this project, I gained experience in field research, interviewing, target audience photography, and graphic design.
